I did have trouble at first, after blocking the executables in the firewall. It wouldn’t get to the agreement part.
I set the steam emulator to offline in \SOULCALIBUR VI Deluxe Edition\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv139\Win64\steam_emu.ini
and deleted the save data at C:\s\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\544750
Then it loaded into the game for me, with no internet traffic.
So is it working? No black screen after the bandai logo?
Yes. This patch replaces the steamemu.ini file with the only edit being the line “Offline=0” being replaced with “Offline=1”.
Don’t use “network fix”
There’s no reason not to use the patch.
It only replaces one file, steam_emu.ini.
The only difference is that it sets the emu to offline, which lets the game run without an internet connection.
Either use the patch, or change offline from “0” to “1” in steam_emu.ini.
